As part of the Green Mark Platinum rating, we are developing an energy strategy that promotes passive performance, coupled with highly efficient ACMV and lighting system and cutting-edge SMART building technology, supplemented by renewable energy.
CFD simulations helped the massing and layout of the site to ensure that densely occupied outdoor spaces exhibited good air flow. The swimming pools were positioned to Benefit from prevailing winds to help cool the water.
Shading and sun path analysis informed the design of the main canopy to the stadium to ensure spectators will shaded during hot periods of the day.
An holistic and integrated environmental design and HVAC strategy is being developed to ensure that the building achieves a Green Mark Platinum rating

Key project objectives include reduction of carbon emissions, healthy and comfortable internal and outdoor environments, functional green spaces and biodiversity as well as minimising water consumption. The solutions developed are to be cost-effective and low maintenance to ensure economic sustainability over the lifetime of the project.

The project is targeting a Green Mark Platinum rating part. As part of this, we are developing an energy strategy that promotes passive performance, coupled with highly efficient ACMV and lighting system and cutting-edge SMART building technology, supplemented by renewable energy.
